In order to alleviate as much stress as possible, we’ve outlined exactly what you can expect from your Renaissance Room experience. Check out this step-by-step guide that will help you feel prepared and pumped to be turned into the piece of artwork that you are!

A high-quality Boudoir experience is an investment in yourself. You are deserving of this time dedicated to lovin’ on YOU!

The Experience Fee is a $500 required retainer that includes your pre-shoot consultation, professional hair/makeup, access to our client closet (sizes XS - 3X), an hour photoshoot at the Renaissance Room studio in Pawtucket, RI and a same-day image reveal.

All digital images and print products are sold separately. Collections start at $1200 and a la carte options begin at $750. Most clients spend an average of $1700-$2700 in total.

Don’t have a bunch of lingerie already laying around waiting to be worn?! Because SAME! Don’t worry, though. You’ll get a PDF a few weeks before your photoshoot with lots of guidance on different things you can wear, places to shop for lingerie and how to prep for the day of the session. Plus, we have a client closet in the studio with accessories and lingerie in sizes XS-3X for you to borrow while you’re here!
100%!!! Don’t even worry about posing at all, we’ll be there to walk you through each and every shot. We’ll take a variety of photos in different poses so you have lots of options to choose from at your image reveal - we’ll highlight all your favorite parts of your body and help you learn to celebrate the parts you might be hesitant to show off.
Great question. It depends! Everyone comes to their Boudoir experience at a slightly different point in their self-love journey. We want to help honor wherever you are in your journey and we’re grateful to be a part of it. Traditionally, we will lightly smooth your skin and edit out any non-permanent blemishes (zits, bruises, etc). We love to see you embracing your stretch marks, scars, and beauty marks, but we understand if you’d like to request those things to be edited out, as well. One thing we will never alter is your body shape - you are beautiful in any and all forms! You’ll have an opportunity pre-shoot to inform us of any editing preferences.
THE SAME DAY! After we’re done taking photos, you’ll head out to lunch while we edit all your pics from your shoot. In the late afternoon, you’ll come back to the studio for your image reveal and we’ll pick the images you want to keep forever and ever!
Since your hair/makeup is already covered in the Experience Fee, we only offer photoshoots that include our in-house hair/makeup artist. It helps make your same-day image reveal possible knowing that you’ll have the highest possible quality hair/makeup done, which helps cut down on our editing time. PLUS, we now you’ll be just as obsessed with your hair/makeup team as I am. They’re all rockstars!
Absolutely. You will have full control over whether or not you feel comfortable with us sharing your Boudoir photos online. We never share an image without permission, and you’ll have the opportunity to formally express whether you’d like to keep your photos completely 100% private, partially private (for example, only sharing images without your face) or if you’re comfy with your full session being featured online. If you purchase digital images, you will receive your gallery in a password protected gallery that is only accessible by you or whoever you share the password with.
I know it’s tempting to bring your hype team with you to your Boudoir shoot, but we promise we make a great cheerleading squad, too! We’ve found that having guests present at your shoot can be distracting … and this shoot is meant to be all about YOU!
No! We have a la carte options that allow you to purchase just digital images if that’s what you prefer. But we have to admit, seeing your photos in print is a pretty empowering and awesome experience!
Yes, of course! We know this is a big investment (both financially and figuratively). Most clients book their session 4-6 months in advance and make monthly payments leading up to their session. Ask us about payment plans during your phone consultation!
